EXWEL TRUST HELPS DISABLED WOMAN

On the morning of 19th Aug 2010, two women aged around 65 and 35 respectively, entered into our office, which is in the first floor with great struggle. (one being physically disabled).

They were mother and daughter. The 65 years old mother (a dalit widow) narrated her life story and requested to provide some financial assistance to her daughter, who is disabled to purchase a caliper.

Both of them showed copies of petitions submitted to the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu and District Collector for the past 10 years. Alas ! none of the government agencies came forward to help this widow and her daughter.

It was when they were virtually losing all hope of getting any help from any one, one veteran living in her village had given the address of Exwel Trust. Thus they have come to our office.

The Managing Trustee Sgt.R.Chellappa, who interviewed both the women, immediately arranged for a CALIPER and assured all possible help for her self employment.

So far the mother Smt.Arumugam was looking after her disabled daughter. Now, since she is old, her daughter has to look after her mother.

The disabled women named S.Jayalalitha, knows tailoring, she wants some financial assistance for purchasing a Sewing machine.

We request the readers to help this poor dalit girl to purchase a sewing machine for the survival of her mother and self. Your donations (any small amount) can be sent to our account name: Exwel Trust, Canara Bank, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District.
